Nothing is impossible

One can imagine many things – and indeed also in the wrong way and manner. But the perception and the faith, that God is always there, should fulfil us and always be present. This perception is blessed and can never be wrong. This knowledge and acceptance gives us, in our restless and despondent hearts (Jeremiah 17:9), the deep acknowledgement, that God has a solution and an answer for everything, at all times. When we ask God for something, then the belief that nothing is impossible for God, is the prerequisite that God will answer our prayers, in accordance with His will (Genesis 18:14). God has His principles and His rules and His time in relation to the Spirit which He has given us, as well as the life which follows. For us this means, for one, that God is our heavenly Father, Who loves us (Jeremiah 31:3) and the All-powerful (Psalm 91:1). And therefore it means that I don't have to worry about anything (Philippians 4:6). Can there be anything better or more awesome than having an All-powerful God with us, who loves us? Therefore, if my perceptions are of spiritual nature and leads to a firm belief of the reality of God in my small life, then the right petition is no longer a huge matter which makes me anxious or unsure. Prayer is however not only petitioning God but, also an expression of my relationship to God – my daily bread – and likewise an expression of my state of mind.

Trust in God is also revealed in the freedom and zeal to approach God in all things and take all our questions to HIM. Whoever seeks God with all his heart and soul will find HIM (Deuteronomy 4:29). We also seek God through prayer and ask life-changing questions through prayer. A Christian is a seeking and questioning person with patience and trust towards God! You are therefore called: “Go to God with your cares, problems, difficulties and wishes!” One cannot pray too much and our perception that God is All-Present and that everything concerning us must bypass HIM first, can grow and strengthen. To question and seek are predominant characteristics in children – in the same way we should be in tune with God's Kingdom and our heavenly Father (Luke 18:17). God also ask us questions – questions with exclamation marks! - remember the text at the beginning: “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?” What would you answer to this? The question is: “How much more?” It is a pleasure to seek God whilst we, as His children, know that HE allows Himself to be found and loves us. Albeit (or because of this) our imperfection and our errors and cares “The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God” (Psalm 69:32).
