In cooperation with the plot committee, the Working Group (AG) on World Mechanics and the Working Group on Rules and Regulations, we accompanied the transfer of the old artifact world into the new Mythodea campaign. It was our task to design and implement guidelines and processes for the creation, use, support and administration of these three themes for both the plot authors and the players. In order to make our work in the AG easier and more structured, and to give gamemasters, authors and the players concerned access to the relevant information, we created the Artefact Web Tool, which now contains several hundred entries. For good reason, the new plot managers at LA, in this particular case Ruth with her directing team, first had to bring all administrative and decision-making processes back to the company in order to decide what the future handling should be after some testing and validation. Unfortunately, due to the innumerable projects, it has not yet been possible to clarify how to proceed with artifacts, capabilities and components, so that the AG Artifacts has not yet been able to resume its work.</p><p>While we’re impatient for months and have been wanting to confirm the features you’ve gained, we can understand that it takes time to learn the processes and background. However, since the other AGs, on whose close cooperation we have been dependent up to now, are still on hold or have disbanded, we don’t see any perspective for the AG Artefakte at the moment. At the moment, we don’t have the authority and possibilities to resume work and we wouldn’t have the author nor the game management structures to link up with the related tasks.</p><p>We have therefore decided not to continue the AG. It would be better if the topics of the AG could either be dealt with within LA or if a new allocation, possibly of subtasks, could be made. Wir begleiteten in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Plot-Gremium, der AG Weltenmechanik und der AG Regelwerk die Überführung der alten Artefaktwelt in die neue Mythodea-Kampagne. Dabei war es unsere Aufgabe sowohl für die Plotautoren, wie auch für die Spielerschaft, Richtlinien und Prozesse zur Schaffung, Nutzung, Betreuung und Verwaltung dieser drei Themenkomplexe zu gestalten und umzusetzen. Um uns die Arbeit in der AG einfacher und strukturierter zu ermöglichen und sowohl Spielleitern, Autoren und den betroffenen Spielern Zugang zu den relevanten Informationen zu ermöglichen, schufen wir das Artefakt-Webtool, in dem inzwischen mehrere Hundert Einträge enthalten sind. Denn aus gutem Grund mussten die neuen Plotverantwortlichen bei LA, in diesem speziellen Fall Ruth mit ihrem Regie-Team, zunächst einmal alle Verwaltungs- und Entscheidungsprozesse zurück in die Firma holen um nach Prüfung und Validierung zu entscheiden, wie die zukünftige Handhabe sein sollte. Leider war es aufgrund der unzähligen Projekte bisher noch nicht möglich zu klären wie es mit Artefakten, Fähigkeiten und Komponenten weitergehen soll, so dass die AG Artefakte ihre Arbeit bisher noch nicht wieder aufnehmen konnte. </p><p>Während wir deswegen zugleich natürlich ungeduldig sind und euch schon seit Monaten gerne die erspielten Features bestätigen wollten, können wir natürlich auch gut verstehen, dass die Einarbeitung in Prozesse und Hintergrund einfach ihre Zeit dauert. Da jedoch die anderen AGs, auf deren enge Zusammenarbeit wir bisher angewiesen waren, auch weiterhin auf Eis liegen oder sich aufgelöst haben, sehen wir gerade keine Perspektive mehr für die AG Artefakte. Denn zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt haben wir nicht die Befugnisse und Möglichkeiten die Arbeit wieder aufzunehmen und hätten auch weder Autoren- noch Spielleitungsstrukturen um uns mit den damit in Verbindung stehenden Aufgaben vernünftig zu vernetzen.</p><p>Wir haben daher entschieden, dass wir davon absehen wollen die AG fortzuführen. Es ist besser, wenn die Themen der AG entweder innerhalb von LA betreut werden oder eine neue Vergabe, ggfs. von Teilaufgaben, erfolgen kann. These are the only places where rituals are possible.<br> In addition there will be times, which one learns in game, at which ritual places are active.</p><p><br> The coordination, who needs which place when, takes place completely in game. A date coordination via the SL is not planned!<br> Now that we have the official part behind us, some background on the idea of rituals in Mythodea.</p><p><br> First of all, rituals is something for everyone. There may be characters like magicians or scholars who know rituals very well and have a lot of experience. But in Mythodea there is no limit to who can basically do a ritual.<br> Everybody is able to perform a ritual. Whether one has the IT knowledge here and the OT experience is then again another question.<br> Rituals are role play. They are representation and experience. But this should be a game approach and not a punishment. Dies sind die einzigen Plätze an denen Rituale möglich sind.</p><p>Zudem wird es Zeiten geben, welche man im Spiel erfährt, zu denen Ritualplätze aktiv sind. </p><p>Dabei erfolgt die Koordination, wer wann welchen Ort braucht oder nutzen will, vollständig im Spiel. Eine Terminabsprache über die SL ist nicht vorgesehen!</p><p>Nachdem wir den offiziellen Teil jetzt hinter uns haben, ein bisschen Inhalt zur Idee von Ritualen in Mythodea.</p><p>Vorweg ist zu sagen, Rituale ist für jeden etwas. Es mag Charaktere wie Magier oder Gelehrte geben, welche sich besonders gut mit Ritualen auskennen und viel Erfahrung haben. Doch in Mythodea gibt es keine Beschränkung wer grundsätzlich ein Ritual machen kann.</p><p>Jeder ist regeltechnisch fähig ein Ritual durchzuführen. Ob man hier die IT-Kenntnisse hat und die OT-Erfahrung ist dann wieder eine andere Frage.</p><p>Rituale sind Rollenspiel. Sie sind Darstellung und Erlebnis. Doch dies soll ein Spielansatz sein und keine Bestrafung. Not only have we explained our rules for dealing with „old artifacts“, but we’ve also outlined quite clearly what new rules will be there for new artifacts. The creation of player artifacts on the Settler Cons will not be available until a later date.<br></p><p><strong>This will work as follows:</strong><br></p><ol><li>Visit <a href="http://artifacts.mytho-tools.de" rel="nofollow">http://artifacts.mytho-tools.de</a> and, if you haven’t already, register for the artifact tool. Then sign in.</li><li>Under the menu item „Neues Artefakt“ you can enter all the necessary information for the artefact request to the artefact team and then send the form.<ol><li>OT-Bezeichnung: Enter a clear, understandable, descriptive name for the planned artifact here.</li><li>Name des Charakters: Which character should create and use the artifact? (If this differs, please include details in the description.)</li><li>Veranstaltung: At which event is the creation planned?</li><li>Wunscheffekt: Which effects and powers do you wish the artifact to have?</li><li>Artefakterschaffung: Which materials (also old artifacts), sacrifices and abilities flow into the creation? How, where and with whom should the process (the artifact ritual) take place?</li></ol></li><li>Next, the Artifact-Team will review your request and give you feedback within the tool. You can view the artifact in your list, view its status, and respond to any queries we may have. You will receive an email notification when new messages arrive.</li><li>Once the artifact has been successfully created at an event, the Artifact-Team can add more details to the artifact list. You can also enter information about the message function here again.</li><li>As soon as the artifact has been completely coordinated and created, it will be set to „active“ by the team. In the future it will also be possible to generate artifact cards from the artifact tool.</li></ol><p>(Note: The Tool will be available in Englisch soon)</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Deadlines:</span></strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"></span></p><p>In general, all requests for artifact creations should be received by the Artifact-Team no later than 3 weeks before the respective event. For the Chronicle 2019 a shortened deadline applies as an exception. In concrete terms this means:<br></p><ul><li><strong>Chronicles 2019: 20 April 2019</strong></li><li><strong>JdS 2019: 28 May 2019</strong></li><li><strong>ConQuest 2019: July 8, 2019</strong></li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Desired effect:</span></strong></p><p>As explained in the blog article linked above, there will be a number of new guidelines for the artifacts of the new campaign. Without taking the fun and excitement out of puzzling about artifact creation, here’s what we can tell you:<br></p><ul><li>The creation of harmless artifacts is without any issue. Harmless means: <ul><li>allowing you to have a purely role-playing, but no control effect. (Example: The magic needle with which you can sew particularly well.)</li><li>have a regular effect that can already be found in the rules… (Example: The fan, which allows the character to create the effect Wind Gust with his own magic power).</li></ul></li><li>Especially good are artifacts that are created for a special, clearly defined purpose, have a special effect for it, but are used up afterwards and are only memorabilia. (Example: Sword and Shield to fight Igraina on the last ConQuest)</li><li>For their effect, artefacts need elemental power. Either they are received by the carrier during each application or they are recharged. In the course of the last ConQuest, we already tried out some innovations that have grown out of the positive and critical ritual experiences of the mirror world. Among other things, following thing are now new/different:<br></p><ul><li>Location: Rituals can no longer be performed at arbitrary locations. Suitable places are defined by the SL and mediated in the game (e.g. by fixed roles).</li><li>Time: Rituals are only possible at certain times defined by the SL.</li><li>Components: Suitable material, not only for the creation of artefacts, is urgently needed and strengthens the ritual and its effect. Furthermore, other factors (e.g. wrong place, wrong time) can be compensated.</li><li>Sacrifice: A sacrifice has a positive effect on the success of the ritual.</li><li>Unpredictability: Magic rituals are unpredictable. Sometimes there are unforeseen disturbances which can endanger the whole ritual.</li></ul><p>All rituals must also be registered at the latest 3 weeks before the respective event via the e-mail address „Artefakte@mythodea.de“. The material can be reused for a new artefact, if necessary also following the effect of the old artefact (depending on SL agreement). Wir haben nicht nur unsere Festlegungen im Umgang mit “Alt-Artefakten” erklärt, sondern auch bereits recht deutlich skizziert, welche neuen Regeln es für neue Artefakte geben wird. Die Schaffung von Spieler-Artefakten auf den Siedler-Cons wird erst zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder freigegeben.<br></p><p>Dies läuft ab sofort wie folgt:<br></p><ol><li>Besuche die Seite <a href="http://artifacts.mytho-tools.de">http://artifacts.mytho-tools.de</a> und registriere dich, wenn noch nicht geschehen, für das Artefakt-Tool. Dann melde dich an.</li><li>Unter dem Menüpunkt “Neues Artefakt” kannst du beim Artefakt-Team alle notwendigen Informationen für die Artefakt-Beantragung eingeben und das Formular dann abschicken.<ol><li>OT-Bezeichnung: Gib hier einen klaren, verständlichen, sprechenden Namen für das geplante Artefakt ein.</li><li>Name des Charakters: Welcher Charakter soll das Artefakt schaffen und auch nutzen. (Wenn das voneinander abweicht, schreibe Details dazu in die Beschreibung.)</li><li>Veranstaltung: Auf welcher Veranstaltung ist die Schaffung geplant?</li><li>Wunscheffekt: Welche Effekte und Auswirkungen soll das Artefakt wunschgemäß haben?</li><li>Artefaktschaffung: Welche Materialien (auch Alt-Artefakte), Opfer und Fähigkeiten fließen in die Schaffung ein? Wie, wo und mit wem soll der Vorgang (das Artefaktritual) stattfinden?</li></ol></li><li>Als nächstes prüft das Artefakt-Team deine Anfrage und gibt dir innerhalb des Tools Rückmeldung. Du kannst das Artefakt in deiner Liste aufrufen, den Status ansehen und auf Rückfragen von uns antworten. Bei neuen Nachrichten erhältst du eine E-Mail-Benachrichtigung.</li><li>Nach der erfolgreichen Erschaffung des Artefakts auf einer Veranstaltung können vom Artefakt-Team weitere Details in die Artefaktliste eingetragen werden. Du kannst hier auch wieder Infos über die Nachrichtenfunktion eingeben.</li><li>Sobald das Artefakt vollständig abgestimmt und geschaffen ist, wird es vom Artefakt-Team auf “aktiv” gesetzt. Zukünftig wird es dann auch möglich sein aus dem Artefakt-Tool heraus Artefaktkarten zu generieren.</li></ol><p>Fristen/Deadlines:</p><p>Generell sollen alle Anträge auf Artefakt-Schaffungen allerspätestens 3 Wochen vor der jeweiligen Veranstaltung beim Artefakt-Team eingegangen sein. Für das Chroniken 2019 gilt ausnahmsweise eine verkürzte Frist. Konkret heißt das:<br></p><ul><li><strong>Chroniken 2019: 20. April 2019</strong></li><li><strong>JdS 2019: 28. Mai 2019</strong></li><li><strong>ConQuest 2019: 8. Juli 2019</strong></li></ul><p>Wunscheffekt:</p><p>Wie im oben verlinkten Blog-Artikel ausgeführt soll es für die Artefakte der neuen Kampagne eine Reihe von neuen Richtlinien geben. Ohne euch Spaß und Spannung beim Rätseln um die Artefaktschaffung zu nehmen, können wir Folgendes schon mal verraten:<br></p><ul><li>Entspannt ist die Schaffung von unbedenklichen Artefakten, die<ul><li>einen rein rollenspielerischen, aber keinen regeltechnischen Effekt haben. (Beispiel: Die Zaubernadel, mit der man besonders gut nähen kann.)</li><li>eine regeltechnische Wirkung haben, die sich bereits im Regelwerk findet.. (Beispiel: Der Fächer, der es dem Charakter ermöglicht den Effekt Windstoß mit eigener Zauberkraft zu wirken.)</li></ul></li><li>Besonders schön sind Artefakte, die für einen besonderen, klar definierten Zweck geschaffen werden, dafür einen besonderen Effekt haben, danach aber verbraucht und nur noch Erinnerungsstücke sind. (Beispiel: Schwert und Schild zur Bekämpfung von Igraina auf dem letzten ConQuest)</li><li>Für ihren Effekt benötigen Artefakte Elementkraft. Entweder sie erhalten diese bei jeder Anwendung durch den Träger oder sie werden aufgeladen. Wir haben im Zuge des letzten ConQuest bereits einige Neuerungen ausprobiert, die aus den positiven wie kritischen Ritual-Erfahrungen der Spiegelwelt erwachsen sind. Unter anderem ist bei Ritualen ab sofort neu/anders:<br></p><ul><li><strong>Ort</strong>: Rituale sind nicht mehr an beliebigen Orten durchführbar. Geeignete Orte werden von der SL definiert und im Spiel (z.B. durch Festrollen) vermittelt.</li><li><strong>Zeit</strong>: Rituale sind nur zu bestimmten, von der SL definierten, Zeiten möglich.</li><li><strong>Komponenten</strong>: Geeignetes Material, nicht nur bei der Schaffung von Artefakten, sind dringend erforderlich und verstärken das Ritual und dessen Wirkung. Wie wir uns zudem dafür einsetzen können das LARP so vielfältig, divers, pluralistisch bleibt wie es ist. Beziehungsweise, wie wir alle dabei helfen können, dass wir als LARPer*innen die – wie es Daniel Pause (1. Vorsitzender des DLRV) im Eingangspanel ausdrückte – Deutungshoheit darüber behalten, was LARP ist.</p><p>Was wir großartig fanden war, dass grundsätzlich Einigkeit bestand, dass Professionalisierung nicht als Bedrohung angesehen wird und wir nicht vor lauter Angst eine Grabenmentalität entwickeln sollten. In den Vorträgen, Workshops und Gesprächsrunden, egal ob im Programm oder in den vielen Randgesprächen, standen immer die Vorteile im Vordergrund und auch der Wille, LARP als Hobby voran zu bringen: Niemand will jemandem etwas wegnehmen oder streitig machen, private Orgas, Vereine und Hobbyisten sollen profitieren und unterstützt werden. Es soll mehr LARP geben, nicht weniger: Alle Interessen, ob Hobby, Spaß, Bildung oder ein Einkommen zu generieren, sind gleichberechtigt und müssen ihren Platz haben.</p><p><strong>Gemeinsam sind wir stark!</strong><br />Auch das Motto unseres Zusammenschlusses mit den Burgschneiders! Diese Bombe auf dem Mittelpunkt platzen zu lassen sorgte für viel Gesprächsstoff und führte zu spannenden Randgesprächen. Und wir sind so stolz! For the great things to come!!!</p><p>Wie weit wir Larper gekommen sind zeigte auch die Verleihung des FRED. So viele und so unterschiedliche Nominierungen wie in diesem Jahr gab es noch nie. Vom Drachenfest bis zum experimentellen Psychodrama-LARP bis hin zum Minilarp war alles dabei. Es wurden Spielergruppen gewürdigt, private Orgas, innovative Konzepte und technische Leistungen. Das zu feiern und sichtbar zu machen ist enorm wichtig.</p><p>Neben all diesen „wichtigen“ Dingen zeigte sich aber noch etwas viel wichtigeres: LARPer wissen, wie man Party macht. Die FRED-Gala wurde nerdgerecht um Mitternacht von einem Rock-Paper-Scissors-Monstermatch „überfallen“, die die Party in eine wilde, laute Untergrund-Wrestlingshow verwandelten. Nicht geplant, nicht angekündigt. Solange das erhalten bleibt – nein, solange es davon immer mehr gibt – muss niemand Angst um uns haben. Leute und Firmen, die das nicht verstehen oder denen das peinlich ist, haben bei uns nichts verloren! In diesem Sinne: Mehr ist gut. Besonders sein ist gut. Zwar konnte in den folgenden Tagen ein Teil der Schäden repariert werden, doch war die magische Grundstruktur Mythodeas nachhaltig erschüttert. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">In direkter Konsequenz entstanden massive Schäden an der magischen Struktur aller verzauberten Gegenstände (sprich Artefakte) als auch Orte in Mythodea. Es war möglich die im Spiel befindlichen Artefakte für eine coole Aktion zum Kampagnenfinale noch ein einziges Mal zu nutzen, wodurch sie letztendlich irreparabel zerstört waren. Hier blieb dann nur noch das strukturell angegriffene Material und die Erinnerung eines hoffentlich spannenden Artefaktlebens übrig (oder womöglich die Grundlage für etwas Neues)?<br /><em>(Dies gilt auch für alle Spieler, die mit ihren Artefakten nicht auf dem ConQuest waren. Auch gilt weiterhin, dass alle Artefakte von außerhalb Mythodeas dort nicht funktionieren aber auch keinerlei Schaden nehmen). </em></span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Ausgenommen waren von diesen Konsequenzen nur von den Elementen direkt geschaffene/geschützte Artefakte wie beispielsweise die Schwerter der Macht, Szepter/Reifen der Macht oder die Bindungsartefakte des Weltenrates. Dabei handelt es sich aktuell noch um ca. 15 Objekte und deren zukünftige Geschichte steht auf einem ganz anderen Blatt und soll heute nicht Thema sein.</span></p><p><strong>Warum macht ihr sowas?<br /></strong><span style="font-weight:400;">Vor allem deswegen, weil wir mit dem Ende der Spiegelweltkampagne und zur Vorbereitung des dritten Aktes der Mythodea-Geschichte mal mit Altlasten aufräumen mussten. Denn bis zum ConQuest 2018 gab es einen unübersichtlichen Wust an Artefakten aus 15 Jahren Mythodea-Geschichte, die nicht einmal mehr im Ansatz verwaltbar waren und die größtenteils überhaupt nicht mehr ins Weltengefüge passten. Mit dem Spiegelwelt-Ansatz haben wir versucht, hier einen Neuanfang zu schaffen. Oder ein Artefakt aus 2008, was ursprünglich mal für einen dezidierten ConQuest-Plot gedacht war, wurde immer noch brav gehütet, überstieg aber jedes heute im Spiel angebotene Zauberschwert an Macht und Möglichkeiten. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Heute gehen unsere Autoren bei der Artefaktkonzeption, genau aus den genannten Gründen, etwas bedachter vor. Sie beschränken Plotartefakte auf die Verwendung innerhalb der dafür vorgesehenen Geschichte oder bedenken Belohnungsartefakte mit einem dezidierten Zweck, einer Aufgabe und auch einem Ablaufdatum.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Genauso hatten wir auch unbeschreiblich viele Probleme mit durch Spielerritualen geschaffenen Artefakten. Dabei störte sicherlich nicht der Armreif, der mit einer Ladung “Magische Rüstung 3” versehen war und einmal auf eine Veranstaltung von einem Nichtmagier genutzt werden konnte, sondern eher permanent wirkende und ständige aktive Artefaktwaffen mit krassen Fähigkeiten, die in Hinblick auf ihr Machtlevel einfach vollkommen unausgewogen waren und im Handstreich mal so eben jeden komplizierten Plot zerstören konnten. Wir werden also weder auf unseren drei Großveranstaltung noch im Kampagnenspiel auf diese spannenden Spielinhalte verzichten. Genauso wie es auch für die Spieler weiterhin möglich sein wird ihre Kreativität in eigene Projekte fließen zu lassen und neue Artefakte zu erschaffen.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Dafür haben wir bereits im Zug der Konzeption der neuen Kampagne Regeln und Richtlinien definiert, die für neue Artefakte in der Welt Gültigkeit haben. Damit hoffen wir, verzauberte Gegenstände in Hinblick auf verschiedene Faktoren wie beispielsweise Machtlevel, konkrete Fähigkeiten, Verwendungszweck, Ladungen und Schaffungsaufwand in einem vergleichbaren Rahmen zu haben. Somit werden Artefakte wieder spielbarer und wichtiger ohne dass einzelne Objekte das Spiel anderer stören oder gar zerstören. Parallel dazu können wir Plotartefakte ins Spiel bringen, die sich auf ähnlichem Niveau bewegen oder aus Storygründen bewusst davon abweichen.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Die beschädigten und zerstörten Artefakte aus der alten Kampagne können in Hinblick auf das verwendete Material, also die bisher genutzte Requisite, in ein neu zu schaffendes Artefakt eingebracht werden. Dies begünstigt die Rahmenbedingungen der Artefakterschaffung. Dabei werden jedoch Wirkungsweise, Machtlevel, Ladungen und andere Einschränkungen den Regeln der neuen Kampagne folgen.</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Außerdem werden wir die Schaffung von Artefakten, die in der kompletten Mythodea-Kampagne nutzbar sein sollen, zukünftig auf die drei großen Veranstaltung Chroniken, Jenseits der Siegel und ConQuest beschränken. Die Schaffung von Artefakten auf Siedlercons werden wir im ersten Schritt dahingehend einschränken, dass diese nur auf diesem Siedler-Con oder der entsprechenden Con-Reihe nutzbar sind. Wir haben uns dazu sehr viele Gedanken gemacht und wollen daran Einiges ändern. Ein gut funktionierender Prozess bedingt hier aber auch, dass wir die Rituale zur Schaffung von Artefakten zunächst auf die drei Großveranstaltungen beschränken müssen. Zudem ist es auch notwendig Abstimmungsmodalitäten zu definieren, nach denen Artefaktschaffungsrituale mit genügend Vorlauf für eine dieser Veranstaltungen angemeldet werden, so dass wir genug Zeit haben, das Vorhaben zu prüfen, ggfs. anzupassen und den Vorgang an das zuständige SL-Team zu übergeben. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Genauso wollen wir aber auch klar regeln wie der Artefakt-Checkout dann ablaufen muss, so dass wir im Backoffice eine saubere Artefaktverwaltung mit zeitnaher Bestätigung umsetzen können. Denn diese ist wiederum die Grundlage dafür, dass die Artefakte bei der nächsten Veranstaltung, auch im Kampagnenspiel, von einem Spielleiter auch vernünftig betreut werden können, eine Sache, die in der Vergangenheit häufig hakte. </span></p><p><span style="font-weight:400;">Was sich hier im Text jetzt recht entspannt anhört bedeutet tatsächlich einen großen Haufen Arbeit für ein Team von ehrenamtlichen Teammitgliedern, die Lust haben sich um diesen Prozess, um Absprachen und um die Artefaktverwaltung zu kümmern. Zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt haben wir schon ein ziemlich rundes Konzept, aber bis zum Start des ganzen Projekts ist noch viel zu tun. Wir sind aber guter Hoffnung, dass wir mit ordentlich Vorlauf zum Chroniken 2019 aufsetzen können. In the days since we already had time to read a few feedbacks and to collect results. High time, then, to give you a brief review here.</p><h2>What actually happened?</h2><p>For several years now, the ConQuest no longer aims to tell a great story for all participants. This approach ended with the abolition of the big stage shows and is also not planned for a revival. Instead, for many years we have concentrated on an exciting introduction, a coherent scenario and numerous manageable individual stories at banner level, which you can experience and follow from start to finish. Of course these stories are connected and who forgoes any sleep and is ready to run long distances can certainly play more than just one of them. For everyone else, here is an overview and a short summary of the results:</p><p><em>This list is partly only understandable, if one has experienced at least a part of the story already. Telling the whole stories on the blog would go beyond it’s scope and is not the idea of this post either.</em></p><ul><li>The <strong>Worldforge</strong> was destroyed in a massive explosion just before the start of the game. Their remains were spread all over the area and turned out to be irreparable. But the explosion also uncovered an ancient <strong>apparatus</strong> that could be adapted in such a way that the centre of Mythodeas‘ magical „leyline“ network could continue to exist even without the forge of the world.</li><li>In all of the surrounding areas, <strong>elementary sparks</strong> appeared, which one could absorb in oneself in order to learn more about the elements and oneself.</li><li><strong>Stone Father</strong>, a member of the World Council, returned to the world to teach mortals how to protect Mythodea from worse with the help of the ancient apparatus.</li><li>The <strong>workshop</strong> was badly damaged. During the repairs it was decided to keep the Forsaken knowledge so that the studio continues to take a tightrope walk. She was able to complete three of her four rituals undisturbed, which helped her to great power, but because of the settlers‘ completion of the apparatus, her plan with the leylines failed.</li><li>Although a good dozen players managed to arm themselves for a duel with Igraina, it was only on Friday evening that they were able to penetrate her ritual circle effectively and in large numbers. The final duel on Friday evening fought Harras von Grauenfurt and finally killed the Laird. It remains to be feared, however, that this made her the new Queen of Bones. (As visions of her at night and an apparition at the Saturday battle should suggest.)</li></ul><ul><li>The <strong>Unity Banner</strong> had a tough and hard to reach opponent with the butcher Joseph. Only on Saturday he could finally be hunted down (which is not for sure the final death of an undead man).</li><li>Through this victory, however, the Unity gained at least the last part of the phalanx of memory, another apparatus component. Here, too, the part was 100% finished and handed over to Stone Father.</li><li>In the <strong>Temple of Terror</strong> the story of the Vahar’phobaran as well as the Tanaar and Urr’gulnar continued. The long-standing scholar and leader <strong>Peppin</strong> died during the final handover to Stone Father.</li><li>Also among the discoverers, the reawakened <strong>Ni’Shanhaz</strong> was finally destroyed. Her long-time companion, the defected Da’na Da’ush also died.</li></ul><ul><li>Together with the Explorers, the <strong>Retinue Banner</strong> succeeded in completely destroying the network of rats (spies of the Army of Doubt).</li><li>The secrets of the Seers and the new mineral Pyarmidium have also been completely cleared up in the Retinue. It was even possible to process and refine the <strong>Pyramidium</strong>. Important note: Unvarnished Pyramidium fell apart to worthless dust immediately after the ConQuest.</li></ul><ul><li>With a little help from the orcs, <strong>the Freedom Banner</strong> finally managed to destroy the bell of Corpsdale.<br />In addition, the crystal memory, another part of the apparatus, could be repaired and completed. Stone Father thus acquired the fourth and last component.</li><li>The dagger of the Episcorpa, which has been in storage for a year, has finally been completely destroyed. The recovered Chattragorioth (the Thorn from the Honorable Heart), however, is in safe custody in the Seal of the East.</li><li>The <strong>griffin portal</strong> was completely purged on Saturday evening and the last remnants of the soul of the former eastern archon Thorus could finally find peace.</li><li><strong>Mebreth</strong> was also finally destroyed in the Adamant Banner after she was removed from the Black Throne.</li></ul><ul><li>Shey ksun Aret had conjured the <strong>Dreamspike</strong> (also „Black Throne“) as well as the <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Throne</strong> on the remains of the Worldforge bowl in order to gain power over time and the primal soul of Mythodea by use of these constructs. Mebreth, the last dreamwalker of the Pestilence, also had little chance of defending the Black Throne against the <strong>Vahatar of Destruction</strong>.</li><li>As the Vahatars (bearers of the Swords of Power) realized that the thrones were too powerful to purify them of Shey’s influence, they sacrificed themselves to completely destroy them with the help of former Archon Tuachal. Through the connection created by Shey, the <strong>Worldheart of Kelriothar</strong> was also utterly destroyed (which led to the destruction of all remaining souls in Kelriothar).</li><li>Shey was weakened by the loss of her thrones, the betrayal of her new „lover“ Darin (from the Viribus Unitis) and the end of her alliance with the Black Ice. In this state she was finally defeated by the two <strong>Vahatars of Fusion</strong>, the last Vahatar still alive. Former Vahatar Ganura was the only survivor of this.</li><li>In all these deeds, the help of the purified<strong> Sim Galiadh</strong> was of great value, even if she was still met with much suspicion.</li><li>The dormant souls of Almanahdir and Almahandra were also awakened from the Dreamspike and reshaped in the process. The Ad Adrasta quarter cooperated with Mirrorlady Thier’ma to escort the Edalphi safely to Mythodea (after approval by the Banner Council).</li><li><span style="font-size:13px;">After the death of Shey ksun Aret, the players succeeded in putting the parts of the apparatus together and connect it to the remains of the Worldforge. This was only achieved because all Banners had worked together to this single goal over the course of the last three days. In defending this ceremony, Gariann, the Nyame of the South, sacrificed herself as well as her Neches’re to protect the ruins of the World Forge from the Laird Emeline.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:13px;">The Archon of Thorns, Karl Weber, had died a hero the day before defending his homeland against Shey ksun Aret, thwarting the plans of the Sceptic.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:13px;">The final Primordial Sceptic Exar Charon sent a message to fulfill his agreement with the Banner Council to support the settlers in the destruction of the Mirrorworld and it’s Forsaken heart. He was also invited by the rulers of Mythodea to a meeting as well as the execution of his sentence. Was ist eigentlich…]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Für die meisten ist das ConQuest schon zwei Wochen vorbei aber der letzte LKW wurde in Regensburg erst letzten Montag ausgeladen. In den vergangenen Tagen hatten wir aber trotzdem schon Zeit ein paar Feedbacks zu lesen und Ergebnisse zusammen zu tragen. Höchste Zeit also, hier auch Euch einen kurzen Rückblick zu geben.</p><h2>Was ist eigentlich passiert?</h2><p>Das ConQuest verfolgt schon seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr das Ziel, eine große Rahmengeschichte für alle Teilnehmer zu erzählen. Dieser Ansatz endete mit der Abschaffung der großen Bühnenshows und ist auch nicht für eine Wiederaufnahme geplant. Statt dessen konzentrieren wir uns seit vielen Jahren auf einen spannenden Einstieg, ein stimmiges Szenario und zahlreiche überschaubare Einzelgeschichten auf Banner-Ebene, welche man von Anfang bis Ende erleben und verfolgen kann. Natürlich hängen diese Geschichten zusammen und wer auf Schlaf verzichtet und bereit ist große Strecken zu laufen kann sicher auch mehr als nur eine davon spielen. Für alle anderen kommt hier der Überblick und eine kurze Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse:</p><p><em>Diese folgenden Punkte sind teilweise nur verständlich, wenn man zumindest einen Teil des Plots vor Ort mitbekommen hat. Die vollständigen Geschichten hier nieder zu schreiben würde jeden Rahmen sprengen und ist auch nicht Sinn dieses Posts.</em></p><ul><li>Die <strong>Weltenschmiede</strong> zerbarst in einer gewaltigen Explosion kurz vor Spielstart. Ihre Überreste waren weit über das Arreal verteilt und stellten sich als irreparabel heraus. Die Explosion legte aber auch eine alte <strong>Apparatur</strong> frei, welche man so anpassen konnte, dass das Zentrum des Kraftadern- und Linien-Netzes Mythodeas auch ohne die Weltenschmiede weiter existieren konnte.</li><li>In der gesamten Umgebung erschienen <strong>Elementarfunken</strong>, welche man in sich aufnehmen konnte um mehr über die Elemente und sich selbst zu erfahren.</li><li><strong>Steinvater</strong>, ein Mitglied des Weltenrates, kehrte auf die Welt zurück um die Sterblichen zu lehren, wie man mit Hilfe dieser alten Apparatur Mythodea vor Schlimmerem beschützen konnte.</li><li>Das <strong>Atelier</strong> wurde schwer beschädigt. Bei den Reparaturen entschied man sich, auch das verfemte Wissen zu behalten womit das Atelier weiterhin eine Gratwanderung beschreitet. Drei ihrer vier Rituale konnte sie ungestört abschließen, was ihr zwar zu großer Macht verhalf, aber wegen der Fertigstellung der Apparatur durch die Siedler scheiterte ihr Plan mit den Kraftadern.</li><li>Zwar gelang es einem guten Dutzend Spieler, sich für ein Duell mit Igraina zu wappnen, doch erst am Freitagabend konnte man wirkungsvoll und in größerer Zahl zu ihrem Ritualkreis durchdringen. Das finale Duell am Freitagabend focht Harras von Grauenfurt und erschlug die Laird endgültig. Es bleibt jedoch zu befürchten, dass sie dadurch zur Knochenkönigin wurde. (Wie Visionen von ihr in der Nacht und eine Erscheinung auf der Feste am Samstag andeuten sollte.)</li></ul><ul><li>Das <strong>Banner der Einheit</strong> hatte mit den Fleischnäher Joseph einen zähen und schwer zu erreichenden Gegner. Erst am Samstag konnte er endlich gestellt und zur Strecke gebracht werden (was bei einem Untoten aber nicht sicher der endgültige Tod ist).</li><li>Über diesen Sieg erlangte die Einheit aber zumindest das letzte Teil der Erinnerungsphalanx, einem weiteren Apparatur-Bauteil. Auch hier konnte das Teil zu 100% fertig gestellt und an Steinvater übergeben werden.</li><li>Im <strong>Tempel des Schreckens</strong> wurde sowohl die Geschichte der Vahar’phobaran wie auch der Tanaar und Urr’gulnar fortgesetzt. Der langjährige Gelehrte und Anführer <strong>Peppin</strong> verstarb bei der finalen Übergabe an Steinvater.</li><li>Ebenfalls bei den Entdeckern wurde die wieder erweckte <strong>Ni’Shanhaz</strong> endgültig vernichtet. Ihre langjährige Begleiterin, die übergelaufene Da’na Da’ush verstarb ebenfalls.</li></ul><ul><li>Gemeinsam mit den Entdeckern gelang es dem <strong>Banner des Trosses</strong>, das Rattennetzwerk (Spione der Armee des Zweifels) vollständig zu zerschlagen.</li><li>Auch die Geheimnisse um die Seher und das neue Mineral Pyarmidium wurden vollständig im Tross aufgeklärt. Es gelang sogar das <strong>Pyramidium</strong> zu verarbeiten und zu veredeln. Wichtiger Hinweis: Unveredeltes Pyramidium zerfiel direkt nach dem ConQuest zu wertlosem Staub.</li></ul><ul><li>Den Orks gelang es (in Kooperation mit dem Banner der Freien)die <strong>Glocke von Corpsdale</strong> endgültig zu vernichten.</li><li>Außerdem konnte der Kristallspeicher, ein weiterer Teil der Apparatur, repariert und vervollständigt werden. Damit erlangte Steinvater das vierte und letzte Bauteil.</li><li>Der seit einem Jahr verwahrte Dolch der Episcorpa wurde endlich vollständig zerstört. Der geborgene Chattragorioth (der Dorn aus dem Ehernen Herz) jedoch nicht, ist aber im Siegel des Ostens in sicherer Verwahrung.</li><li>Das <strong>Greifenportal</strong> wurde Samstag Abend noch vollständig befreit und die letzten Überreste der Seele des ehemaligen Ost-Archons Thorus konnten ihren Frieden finden.</li><li>Auch <strong>Mebreth</strong> wurde hier endgültig vernichtet, nachdem sie vom Schwarzen Thron entfernt worden war.</li></ul><ul><li>An den Überresten der Goldenen Schale der Weltenschmiede hatte Shey ksun Aret den <strong>Traumdorn</strong> (auch „Schwarzer Thron“) sowie den <strong>Goldenen Thron</strong> beschworen, um über diese Konstrukte Macht über die Zeit und Urseele Mythodeas zu erlangen. Auch Mebreth, die letzte Traumwandlerin der Pestilenz, hatte wenig Chancen den Schwarzen Thron gegen den <strong>Vahatar der Vernichtung </strong>zu verteidigen.</li><li>Als die Vahatare (Träger der Schwerter der Macht) erkannten, dass die Throne zu mächtig waren, um sie von Sheys Einfluss zu reinigen, opferten sie sich um diese mit der Hilfe des ehemaligen Archons Tuachal vollkommen zu zerstören. Durch die von Shey geschaffene Verbindung verging damit auch das <strong>Weltenherz Kelriothars</strong> (was zur Vernichtung aller in Kelriothar verbliebenen Seelen führte).</li><li>Durch den Verlust der Throne, den Verrat ihres neuen „Geliebten“ Darin (aus dem Viribus Unitis) sowie dem Ende ihrer Allianz mit dem Schwarzen Eis war sie geschwächt und konnte schlussendlich von den beiden <strong>Vahatar der Verschmelzung</strong>, den letzten noch lebenden, erschlagen werden. Die ehem. Vahatar Ganura war die einzige Überlebende.</li><li>Bei all diesen Taten war die Hilfe der geläuterten <strong>Sim Galiadh</strong> von großem Wert, auch wenn ihr immer noch mit viel Misstrauen begegnet wurde.</li><li>Auch gelang es, die schlummernde Seelen von Almanahdir und Almahandra aus dem Traumdorn zu wecken und neu zu formen. Das Viertel Ad Adrasta kooperierte mit der Spiegelherrin Thier’ma um die Edalphi sicher nach Mythodea zu geleiten (nach Genehmigung durch den Bannerrat).</li><li>Final gelang es nach dem Tod Shey ksun Arets die Apparatur an der Weltenschmiede, an deren Vervollständigung in den letzten Tagen alle Banner gemeinsam gearbeitet hatten, in Betrieb zu nehmen. Bei der Verteidigung dieser Zeremonie opferte sich <strong>Gariann</strong>, die Nyame des Südens, gemeinsam mit ihrem Neches’re, um die Ruinen der Weltenschmiede vor der Laird Emeline zu schützen.</li><li>Der Archon der Dornen, <strong>Karl Weber</strong>, war einen Tag zuvor bei der Verteidigung seiner Heimat gegen Shey ksun Aret, den Heldentod gestorben. Doch auch ihm gelang es, die Pläne der Urzweiflerin nachhaltig zu durchkreuzen.</li><li>Der Urzweifler <strong>Exar Charon</strong> sandte eine Botschaft zur Erfüllung seiner Vereinbarung mit der Abmachung mit dem Bannerrat, die Siedler bei der Vernichtung von Spiegelwelt und Weltenherz zu unterstützen. Er wurde von den Herrschern zu einem Gespräch und zur Vollstreckung seines Urteils nach Mythdoea eingeladen.
